CEO Indro Mukerjee champions C-MAC’s
customer oriented marketing strategy
at Economist summit

London, UK, 1st March 2006: Indro Mukerjee, Chief Executive Officer of C-MAC MicroTechnology, today addressed the Sixth Annual European Marketing Directors Summit organized by the Economist newspaper and held at the Carlton Tower in London.
Drawing on his extensive board-level experience within the technology sector in both management and marketing roles, Indro was asked to look at the marketing function from the senior management point of view. In outlining board-level expectations and how best to meet them, his presentation espoused a customer oriented marketing strategy very similar to that now being put into practice by C-MAC MicroTechnology.
Indro commented: “Within the technology sector in particular, the role of marketing is often underestimated. However, no business will ultimately succeed without good customer relations, and in this respect the effective communication and delivery of strategy, products and services are vital. These are marketing functions, and at
C-MAC we take them very seriously indeed.”
Other participants in the summit programme included BT Global Services, the Economist Intelligence Unit, GE Healthcare, Google, HSBC Group, Orange Business Solutions, Visa Europe and Xerox Corporation.
