C-MAC’s new frequency control sales director
boosts customer and channel support
Howard Longin has joined leading high-reliability electronics specialist C-MAC MicroTechnology as Global Sales Director – Frequency Control Products. In this new position, he will be responsible for developing customer relationships and sales channels for C-MAC’s high-performance crystal oscillator products — including those based on the company’s industry acclaimed Pluto temperature compensation technology — within new and existing markets across the world.
Howard brings to C-MAC valuable experience from frequency management specialist Raltron, where he was most recently Vice-President of Sales. During his 10 years at Raltron, Howard was responsible for setting up that company’s distribution operation and developing a contract electronics manufacturer (CEM) support team.
Commenting on his move to C-MAC, Howard said: “C-MAC invests in the future by developing new technology, allowing it to provide leading-edge frequency control products while continually driving down the price:performance ratio. In contrast to many frequency control vendors, it has an adventurous outlook and a commitment to excellence right across its sphere of operations. I am excited to be joining C-MAC because it is a truly innovative, entrepreneurial and international company.”
