Application specific integrated circuits (ASICs)
C-MAC MicroTechnology develops ASICs primarily to enhance the performance and reduce the size and cost of a variety of high-reliability electronic systems, ranging from military databus products to automotive sensing systems.
We use semiconductor technologies including bipolar, CMOS (complementary metal oxide semiconductor), BiCMOS (combined bipolar and CMOS) from a range of different fabrication houses to offer analog, digital and mixed-mode capabilities. Silicon configurations include gate arrays, sea of gates and full custom.
Development capabilities include in-house design, subcontracting to outside design houses and a combination of the two.
Because accurate cost modeling, production volumes, and product size and performance play a critical part in the decision to use ASIC technology, we work closely with all customers to identify the optimum solution for their specific application.
