C-MAC MicroTechnology's electronic engineering design team provides a comprehensive design for manufacture (DFM) service for customers. Our highly capable and experienced staff can develop a prototype from even the most basic initial concepts, such as a block diagram or circuit schematic, and translate it into a fully manufacturable product.
Our capability portfolio is extensive and encompasses every major specialist area including ASIC, subsystem and full product design. We can also perform design simulation, generate appropriate test algorithms, and construct fully automated test systems incorporating any, and all, required hardware.
We can provide lifetime support for all the products we design. This protects customers from such problems as component obsolescence and allows ongoing enhancements and modifications that extend and improve the lifetime of the original design. One such partner is Plextek, Europe’s largest independent RF (radio frequency) and microwave design consultancy, with over 85 personnel. Our partnership with Plextek brings our customers many invaluable benefits, including access to Plextek’s industry leading experience in wireless telecommunications and complete module design, and the latest MMIC (monolithic microwave integrated circuit) designs with GaAs (gallium arsenide) technology.
